Three former Magistrates were sworn-in as Commissioners of Title. They took the Oath of Office before the Hon. Brigadier (Ret'd) Mark Phillips at the Office of the Prime Minister.
The Hon. Mohabir Anil Nandlall SC MP, Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs on Thursday, April 4, 2024, met with representatives of the United States & Foreign Commercial Service of Guyana along with representatives from their sister agency, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) at the Attorney General’s Chambers, Carmichael Street, Georgetown.
Today, the Hon. Mohabir Anil Nandlall SC MP, Attorney General & Minister of Legal Affairs was sworn-in as a member of a 20-person Constitution Reform Commission at the Office of the President. This Constitutional Reform Commission is established under the Constitution Reform Commission Act 2022 and is empowered with the mandate to recommend amendments to the Constitution of Guyana.
Today, nine (9) new Magistrates took their Oaths of Office before the Hon. Prime Minister, Mark Phillips in accordance with the Constitution.
Today I was pleasantly surprised by students and teachers of the Anna Regina Multilateral School who paid a courtesy call at the Attorney General’s Chambers.
The visiting delegation was led by Mr. Justice Adrian Saunders, President of the CCJ and included Mr. Justice Winston Anderson, Mr. Justice Peter Jamadar and Ms. Gabrielle Figaro-Jones, Registrar and Chief Marshall of the CCJ.
