This morning, I presented an Application of Joshua James Adam Cullen for admission to practice as an Attorney-at-Law before the courts of Guyana in all its jurisdictions. The Application was heard and granted by the Hon. Mr. Justice Peter Hugh. Mr. Cullen is a graduate of University of Buckingham, London, with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and two Masters of Laws (LLM) degrees. In 2019, he was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn as a Barrister at law. He also completed the required course of study at the Eugene Dupuch Law School, Nassau, Bahamas where he was conferred with a Legal Education Certificate (LEC) of the West Indies. Mr. Cullen will be joining the Attorney General’s Chambers where he would be serving the Government and people of Guyana. Tishina Ramkishun, the wife of Mr. Cullen, was also admitted to the Bar this morning. Her Application was presented by my colleague Mr. Kamal Ramkarran and was granted by the Hon. Mr. Justice Peter Hugh. Congratulations to Tishiana and Joshua, I welcome them to the legal profession of Guyana and offer my best wishes
