TAKING GOVERNMENT TO THE PEOPLE The President is leading a Cabinet outreach in Region 7 (Cuyuni - Mazaruni). The Hon. Mohabir Anil Nandlall SC MP, Attorney General & Minister of Legal Affairs and the Hon. Sarah Browne-Shadeek, Minister of Amerindian Affairs visited and engaged with the residents of Isseneru Village, Middle Mazaruni. The engagement lasted several hours. After an outline of the broad policy imperatives of the Government with specific emphasis on the Government’s hinterland development programme by the two Ministers, the meeting was then open to the residents to raise the major issues and challenges confronting their community. Some of these issues were addressed by the Ministers and the others were documented and transmitted to Cabinet for action
