THE Attorney-Generalโs Chambers took its Deeds and Commercial Registry services to Region One, this time to Port Kaituma.
The public engagement was held at the Port Kaituma Community Centre on Monday, delivering on a promise made by President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali during a previous visit.
Residents accessed a range of services under the Registryโs gamut, including business registration, powers of attorney, and notarisation.

Her Ladyship was called to the Bar in the Territory of the Virgin Islands in 1981. She served in various capacities in the public sector including, Registrar and Magistrate. She joined the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court as a High Court Judge in 2003 and was later elevated to the position of Justice of Appeal in 2009 before she was sworn-in as Chief Justice of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in 2012. She was awarded Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II in 2013 and was called to the Bench as an Honorary Bencher of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 2018.

Mrs. Ali-Hack was admitted to the Bar in October 1990, after which she joined the Chambers of the Director of Public Prosecutions and climbed the ranks. She was confirmed as the substantive Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) in 2008 after acting in the capacity since 2004.

Mme. Justice Blenman was called to the Bar in Guyana in 1988. Her legal career began in Guyana where she served in various capacities including, Acting Deputy Solicitor General in the Attorney Generalโs Chambers, acting Magistrate and a Lecturer in law at the University of Guyana. In September 2000, Justice Blenman was appointed as the Solicitor General of Saint Lucia โ a post she held until she was elevated to the bench of the High Court of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in 2003. Justice Blenman was appointed a Justice of Appeal in the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in 2012 and served in that capacity for ten years. In September, 2022, Justice Blenman was appointed Chief Justice of Belize.

Mme. Justice Rajnauth-Lee was admitted to the bar in 1980. Thereafter, she served as State Counsel in the Solicitor Generalโs Department in Trinidad and Tobago. In 1985, she embarked on a career in private practice. Mme. Justice Rajnauth-Lee was appointed a Judge of the High Court of Trinidad and Tobago in 2001 and was elevated to the Court of Appeal in 2012. She was appointed Judge of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) in 2015.
